drunkalfuzzyness so what. .you have designed and made this all your self? the augmented reality part? its incredible. me and three thers are trying to make a documentary about it. got any tips on what you think we can add? if you dont live to far away from us perhaps we could do an interview with you? 02/10/2010 - 21:04:29

iamthehannifanni Cool experiment, I can imagine this as a form of communication in the future for advertising purposes but for communication reasons I dont think so. The mask would have to mould the face perfectly or shape to suite the size or features of the callers face. When the image is projected onto the mask it looks warped because the caller has a different head size and face size, and solving this can be too costly when we have perfect 2D video messages. , look forward to the next project. 01/08/2010 - 01:34:25
HYBRIDVISION Thanks for the comment and the feedback. I agree that the execution could of been better, but this is more of an experiment, a practically feasible outlet for some of my research. I didn't have a crew and the budget was horse-hair thin :) I shall however be using the concepts shown here, and others in my next film "A Study in Immersion" which will be more "polished". I also would have loved to use multiple faces, I wanted to! 01/03/2010 - 01:09:33
PerArduaadAstra07 really strong concept, execution could of been better but overall very interesting/engaging. It's clear there is a a deep level of immersion but I would of liked to see more faces, maybe interacting with one each other! 80 01/03/2010 - 00:17:30
